Clara Welborn Obituary

She was predeceased by: her parents, Morgan Thomas Arrington and Winnie Jane McHargue Arrington; her husband Edward Lee Welborn, Sr.; and her brothers, Elmer Arrington (Irene), Tom Arrington (Rachel) and Harold Arrington (Annie).
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Welborn (Libby), Jane Eckman (John) and Kathy Welborn; and her grandchildren, Lesley Ketchie (Richard), Heather Thomas (Brian), Lisa Caudle (Rod), Kara Clouse (Chris), Jay Eckman, Clint Garris and Houston Garris (Anna). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; 1 great-great-granddaughter (on the way); several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (349 Turnersburg Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
