He is survived by: his wife Cindra Savage; his children, Cole Savage of Statesville, NC, Carrie Smith of Stony Point, NC and Chanda Slawson of Waukee, IA; and his sister Shirley Murley of Sac City, IA.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
