He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Alton "Peanut" Lee Nantz, Sr.; his grandparents, Lee Patterson Nantz, Margaret Deaton Nantz, James and Maggie Fisher; his mother Linda Fisher Nantz; his brothers, James Nantz (Sydney) and Lee Nantz (Lisa); and his nieces and nephews, Zack (Courtney), Jason, Isaac, Kaden, Lillie Mae, Quienton and Katessia.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cavin-Cook Chapel (494 E Plaza Dr, Mooresville, NC 28115). A graveside service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Iredell Memorial Park (2304 Shelton Ave, Statesville, NC 28677).
