She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Ralph Alexander and Addie Mae Woods; her husband Carl W. Gilbert, Sr.; and her son-in-law Arthur Evans. She is survived by: her children, Carl W. Gilbert, Jr. (Branda) and Bridget Evans; her grandchildren, Carl W. Gilbert, III (Susie), Holly Renee Gilbert, Jesse Garcia and Xavier Garcia; and her great grandchildren, Samantha and Caroline Gilbert.
