He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Evans and Barbara Stafford Evans; and his niece Cassie Medlin. He is survived by: his siblings, Wendy Hefner (Randall), Nichole Houghton and Grant Evans; and his nephews, Jacob Evans, Gage Evans, Dallas Evans, Scott Houghton and Vince Houghton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County.
