It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Danner of Statesville, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Fletch Bell and Mary Church Bell; her husband Richard Danner, Jr.; and her siblings, Lucille Johnson, Margaret Bell, Dorothy Mitchell, Ralph Bell and Ray Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Garry Danner (Becky) and Cathy D. Johnson (Larry); her granddaughters, Katie Danner, Maggie D. Scott (Von), Stacy Johnson and Heather J. Chenevey (Andy); her great grandchildren, Heath Scott, Ruthie Scott, Levi Chenevey, Charlie Chenevey and Nora Chenevey; and her siblings, Bettie Gatton, Ruby Frazier, Carol Holdsclaw and L. W. Bell.
