With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Carolyn Pope of Statesville, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Carolyn left this world on February 27, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Upright and Lillie Garrison Upright; her husband Alvin Monroe Pope; and her daughter-in-law Mary Hutchins. She is survived by: her children, Terry Cloer (Terry), Johnny Pope, Kenny Pope (Kathy) and Dean Hutchins; and her grandchildren, Charity Barkley (Lewis), Shannon Cloer, Rovonda Barkley (Phillip), Cassandra Lemke (Jim), Mallory Rogers (Joseph) and Colton Neill (Shelby). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fallstown Baptist Church (242 State Park Rd, Troutman, NC 28166). A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Shepherd Baptist Church Cemetery (2210 Charlotte Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28117).
