Carole Hartness Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2023, at the age of 91, Carole Hartness (Statesville, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Dennis William Moose; her husband Richard Alexander Hartness of Statesville; and her son Dennis Richard Hartness. She is survived by: her sons, David Wayne Hartness, Tony James Hartness and Barry Alan Hartness; her grandchildren, Bethany Marie Hartness-Smith (Chris) and Benjamin Alan Hartness; her great grandchildren, Emilia Reese Smith and Liam Reid Smith; her siblings, Martha Fry of Chattanooga, TN, Robert Moose (Anita) of Denver, NC and Linda Elam of Troutman; and her close friends, Barbara Stradley, Billie Fae Gill and Marie Richon. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
