He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Pope and Tressie Sigmon Pope. He is survived by: his children, Rodney Pope and Mary Gantt; his grandchildren, Chris Pope (Kathleen), Mary Pope (Austin Mayberry) and Taylor Gantt; his great grandchildren, Callie Mae Pope and Melanie Grace Mayberry; his siblings, Dale Pope (Nancy), Lanny Pope (Carol) and Denise; and also, Pansy McIntosh, Gladys Brown (Larry) and Carla Ann Woodie (Tony).
