She was predeceased by: her parents, Swanson Sutherland and Thelma Sexton Sutherland; and her brothers, Leroy Powers Jr. and Larry Wayne Powers. She is survived by: her children, Howard Todd Sutherland and Misty Marie Ross (Balderas); and her grandchildren, Daydrian Reddick, Jada Reddick, Isabella Balderas, Alejandro "Alex" Balderas, Tristan Sutherland, Patrick Sutherland, Jacob Sutherland, Matthew Owensby and Priscilla Jane Owensby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
