Bonnie Johnson Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonnie Johnson of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey Stevenson, Sr. and Sallie Martin Stevenson; her husband Billy R. Johnson; her siblings, Marie Stevenson (Charles), Marjoylyne Stevenson Addington (Bob), Junius Thomas "Tom" Stevenson, John Harvey Stevenson, Jr. and Joe Rayle Stevenson; and her sister-in-law Sue Stevenson.
She is survived by: her children, Gena Rae Johnson Bergner (John) and Kevin Christopher Johnson (Lyn); her sister-in-law Carolyn Stevenson; her caregiver Anna Porter; and her grandchildren, John Bergner (Caitlyn), Bryan Bergner, Leah Bergner and Zach Sulek. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Concord Presbyterian Church (3867 Taylorsville Hwy, Statesville, NC 28625). A memorial service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
