He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Theodore Daye and Clara Bell Rucker Daye; his grandparents, James G. Rucker and Cornelia Scott-Rucker; his sister Cathy Daye; and his half-sister Cynthia Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Eve Ann Daye; his children, Kaceen Mosley of Alabama, Tamika Hill of Lexington, Evelyn Mosley of Alabama, Jamie Houston of Statesville, Monika Daye of Lexington and Geneva Hayes (Tory) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Kecian Mosley, Khalani Daye, Kamari Daye, Keyonai Williams, Keyshawn Williams, Tateyana Mosley and Levi Moore; his siblings, Fredrick Theodore Daye (Vernell), Carol Ann Jamison (Bernard), Clifford Dwayne Daye (Melissa), Michelle Renee Byurd (John), Mahalia Shani of Washington and Ronald Lee (Elisha) of Washington; his uncle Milton Rucker of Queens, NY; and his aunt Lula Mae Rucker of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and friends.
