It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettie Marie Bell Gatton of Statesville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fletch Bell (Mary Bell) and Mary Church Bell; her husband Jack Gatton; and her siblings, Lucille Johnson, Dot Mitchell, Margaret Bell, Catherine Danner, Ralph Bell and Ray Bell.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruby Frazier and Carol Holdsclaw; her niece Mary Anne Frazier; and her caregivers, Kathleen Ellis, Corinne Berardi and Lillian Lackey. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
