She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sherrill and Betty Miller Sherrill; and her sister Nancy (Jim Gray) of Wilmington. She is survived by: her husband Steven F. Jurney; her son Wesley Miller Jurney of Statesville; her nieces, Alicia and Jessica; her close friends, Kay Rowland of Shelby, Jose and Lucy Gonzalez of Lenoir; and also Cody.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the First Arp Church (123 E Broad St, Statesville, NC 28677). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First ARP Church, 123 East Broad Street, Statesville, NC 28677-5853.
