She was predeceased by: her parents, John Scott and Frances R. Reid; her husband Francis Odell Femister, Sr.; and her siblings, Ivey Reid, Tommy Reid and Jeaneatte Muskelly.
She is survived by: her sister Frances Gail Witt of Pennsylvania; and her children, Tarnell Lazenby (Tony) of Stony Point, Francis Feimster Jr. (Alice) of Charlotte, Gwendolyn Spain (Colbert) of Troutman, Cassandra F. Ramsey, Shelia Fleming (late James) of Charlotte, Henry L. Femister, Thomas R. Femister of Washington, DC, Michelle Bailey (Stanley) of Salisbury, Kendra Smyre, Rozolene Feimster, Jannifer, Nicole, Audrey Barnes, Rhona Vaga and Tonya Young. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great, grandchildren, 5 great, great grandchildren.
