He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Absher and Beatrice Combs Absher; his wife Alice Church Absher; his son Jeffrey Absher; and his siblings, Eunice Shepherd, Vida Pearson, Lockie Wagoner and Ray Absher.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Absher (Dawn) of Olin and Regina Brennan of Statesville; his granddaughter Mary Absher; and his great grandchild Brody Johnson.
