She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Lee Davidson and Lorena Turner Davidson; her husband Roger Holmes, Sr. (Woody); her daughter Cassandra Holmes Scott; her siblings, James "Bud" Davidson and Katherine Davidson; and her grandson Corey Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Roger L. Holmes (Deborah) of Salisbury, NC, Eric Keith Holmes (Jamie) of Selma, NC, Jimmy Lee Holmes of Charlotte, NC and Julia Holmes Watkins of Atlanta, GA; and her grandchildren, Delicia Holmes Guyton, Christopher Holmes, Rashon Holmes, Joshua Holmes, Toccarra Beam (William), Andayie Scott, James Scott, Jr., Jamarr Scott, Marcus Holmes, Justin Holmes (Sarah), Eric Holmes (Mikaela) and Erica Barbour (Joshua). She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, church family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (464 Garfield St, Statesville, NC 28677). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
