She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Scar Morrison and Pauline Horne Morrison; her husband Ernest Eugene "Gene" Carson; and her siblings, William G. Morrison, Francis S. Morrison, Jr., Elsie M. Cansler, Gloria A. Williams, Adelaide Shefte and Polly M. Jordan.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Carson of Rocky Mount, NC, Patricia Carson Lee (Jeff) of Belmont, NC and David Eugene Carson (Janet) of Winnabow, NC; her granddaughters, Madeline Carol Lee of Gastonia, NC and Margaret "Margo" Ann Pitts (Luke) of Statesville, NC; her great grandchildren, L. Pitts and E. Pitts; her sister Frances M. Ashe (Barry) of Newnan; and her siblings-in-law, Pat Carson and John Carson of Spartanburg, SC..
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Troutman Funeral Home Chapel (345 N Main St, Troutman, NC 28166). A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery (114 N Oakwood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
