With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Lewis Pendleton of Statesville, North Carolina, born in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 101. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. A. L. Pendleton and Hazel Evans Pendleton; his wife Dorothy Jones Pendleton (Dot); his daughter Patricia Pendleton Wagner (Pat); and his sisters, Frances London, Nancy Owens and Hazel Dixon.
He is survived by: his sons, Andrew Pendleton, III (Tony) and George Pendleton (Tamera); his grandchildren, Christina Clodfelter Haire (Ed), Tyler Clodfelter, Georgia Lambert (Kory), Madison Pendleton, Tate Pendleton, Brandon Pendleton (Brittany) and Charles Young; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Stevie Lambert, Jack, Charlotte Pendleton and Caroline Haire; and his nieces, Ann Dixon, Mary Frances Chaudhry, Ann Owens Cherry and Katherine Molnar.
