He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Wood and Dolly Wood of Wilkes, NC.; his brothers, Ed Wood (Shirley) and Buford Wood; and his granddaughter BriAnna McClelland.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda; his children, Kenneth Wood (Tera), Karen Woods (Brett) and Jennifer Olumba; his great grandchildren, CJ, Sophia, Von, Brayden, Vicen and Cooper; and his sister-in-law Wilma Wood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
