He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Williams and Mervil Ellen Phipps (Sturgill); his wife Joan Ann Williams; and his siblings, Bruce Williams and Aimee Marie Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Ellen Laws (Mark) and John Williams (Robyn); his grandchildren, Timothy Yates, Lauren Dean (Cheyne), Karla Laws, Alexis "Alex" Williams (Keenan Ade), T. J. Yates, Emersyn Laws and Oliver Dean; and his close friends, Jack, Sharron and Steve Moony.
