He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nall and Luella McNeill Nall; and his siblings, Roland Nall, Roger Nall, Ray Nall, Ralph Nall, Frances Brewer Rush and Betty Jean Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Joye Hicks Nall; his children, John Nall (Carol) of Eagle Springs, Christy Beaver (Chris) of Charlotte and Cassie Neal (Justin) of Garner; his grandchildren, Meghan Masse (Justin), Marissa Angel (Chris), Caleigh Beaver, Colton Beaver and Mary Grace Neal; his sister Mary Greene of Seagrove; and his stepdaughters, Pat Pressley, Anita Kessler and Pam Furches.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church, c/o James Myrick, 488 Browers Mill Road, Star, NC 27356.
