It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roddy Shingleton (Stantonsburg, North Carolina), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. Shingleton and Julia Cook Shingleton of Wilson; and his son William Walton Shingleton of Richmond, VA.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Patterson Shingleton; his son Roddy Neil Shingleton Jr. (Mary Katherine) of Richmond; his grandchildren, Eleanor Rhodes Shingleton, Kathleen Shingleton of Virginia and Samuel Roderick Shingleton of Richmond, VA; and his brother Foy Shingleton (Judith) of Orlando, FL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
