She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barney "Billy Boy" Burress and Pearl Lewis Burress; and her close friend Victor Rendon. She is survived by: her children, Victoria Rendon of Stantonsburg, Madison Nava, Pearla Juarez of Pinetops, Gabriel Rendon and Alexender Rayon; and her sister Angie Godwin (Bacilio Rayon Nava) of Wilson.
