He was predeceased by: his parent William Daniel; his son Steven Almond; and his brother Jessie James Almond. He is survived by: his parent Mae Almond; his wife Frances; his son Thomas Wayne Almond (Gerri) of Stanley; his daughter-in-law Linda P. Almond of Stanley; and his grandson Mark Almond (Christie) of Stanley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Castanea Community Church Cemetery Fund.
