She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mahaffey and Gladys Harstin Mahaffey; her husband Carl H. Henry, Sr.; and her sons, Mackie Spencer and Albert Spencer.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Henry Spencer, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Washington State, Elaine Dyer (James Dyer) of Iron Station and Linda S. Nixon (James) of Denver; and her sister Patricia Robbins of Gastonia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
