It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Rueben Vandiver (Stanley, North Carolina), who passed away on January 13, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jimmie Vandiver and Milton "Van" Vandiver. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Westbrook Vandiver; his children, Thomas Vandiver (Lyndsay), Tommy Culpepper (Andrea) and Jeff Vandiver; his stepchildren, Jamie Campbell (Coley), Jimmy Springs (Rachel) and Jennifer Springs; and his sister Lillian Hoopaugh. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
