He is survived by: his wife Heather Smeets McGinnis; his children, Heather McGinnis-Hicks (Bryant), Jessica McGinnis (Michael Carpenter), Billy McGinnis (Christie) and Jennifer Taylor (O'Brien); his grandchildren, Aiden and Dalton McGinnis; his brother Frank McGinnis (Debbie); and his nephews, Jeremy McGnnis (Amanda) and Patrick McGinnis (Christy).
