She was predeceased by: her parents, John Frank Bradshaw and Mattie Gardner Bradshaw; her husband Donald Houston Lawing; her daughter Vickie Crisp; and her grandson Travis Stroupe.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Lawing (Joy), Rodney Lawing (Beth), Tony Lawing (Billie), Melinda Childers (Terry) and Jill Smith (David). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
