He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy West and Bonita Fortenberry West; his son Michael David West; his brother Bill West; and his parents-in-law, Gail and Ruth McDaniel.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa McDaniel West; his daughter Wendy West Ham; his son-in-law Chris Ham; his son Mark West; his grandchildren, Michael Ham and Casey Ham; and his sister-in-law Sherry West.
