It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Mary Rivera of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gary Spargo Helton and Rozelle Kirkland Helton; and her brother Randy Tyree Helton. She is survived by: her children, Victoria and Elliott Rivera; her brothers, Donald Wayne Helton (Vickie) and Teddy Winn Helton; her sister-in-law Stephanie Helton; and her grandchildren, Cristian, Ella and Rose Rivera.
