It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Cherry (Stanley, North Carolina), born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on December 7, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cherry and Iona Wilma Coley Cherry; and his siblings, Sheila Beal, Beany Cherry and Tom Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Hutchins Cherry; his daughters, Julie Cherry Burke and Nicole Cherry Caddell (David); his siblings, John Cherry (Pat), Polly Mabrey (Bob), Barbara Cummings (Zeb), Wanda Rivera (Jim), Randy Cherry (Jeannie) and Tony Cherry (Gloria); and his grandchildren, Jason Caddell, Mackenzie Caddell, Patrick Burke and Ryan Burke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
