He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Little Larry Burchfield, Chastity Burchfield (Curt) of Gastonia and Mary Sue Gensmer Parker (Marty) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Angelo Sherrill, Angel Helms of Gastonia and Charles Gensmer (Amy) of Mooresville; his great grandchildren, Breanna, Baileigh and Wesley Gensmer of Mooresville; and his stepchildren, Travis, Jerry, Rhonda and Linda of Gastonia.
