It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Wykle of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Gaston, North Carolina, who passed away on April 7, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father George Thomas Wykle; and his brother Robin Love Wykle. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Altman Wykle Patel (Chiman); his wife Melanie Ballard Wykle; his son Joseph "Josh" Wykle (Elise); his stepchildren, Benjamin Grant (Taylor) and Kaitlyn Grant; his stepgrandson Griffin; his father-in-law Basil Ballard; his great-niece Makayla Wykle; and also Brentley Funderburk.
