She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend James Russell Hutchins and Minnie Elizabeth Powell Hutchins; her husband Ronald Joseph "Duck" Cherry; and her brothers, Carlyle, Ravon, Marcus, Sam, Charlie and Joe Hutchins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Burke and Nicole Caddell (David); her grandchildren, Jason, Mackenzie Caddell, Patrick and Ryan Burke; her siblings, Jimmy Hutchins (Betty) and Sylvia Hutchens (Eddie); her sisters-in-law, Gail Hutchins, Iva Dean Hutchins and Sylvia Siler; and her close friend Ann Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Stanley Pentecostal Holiness Church at the above address.
