She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bud" Coleman Welch and Carrie Hovis Welch; her husband Jasper V. Summey; and her siblings, Edna Eades, Anna Mae Ross, James, Leonard and Frank Welch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Martha Jean McIntosh (Maurice) and Nettie Ruth Ridge (Dennis); and her sister-in-law Margaret Welch. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
