She was predeceased by: her parents, Flossie May and Carl Lee Smith; her husband Ted Charles McGee; and her son-in-law John Hampton. She is survived by: her children, Rick (Diane), Chuck (Sheri) and Angie (Jerry); her grandchildren, Kevin (Jami), Brittany (Bryant), Hannah (Aaron) and Jacob (Bailey); her great grandchildren, Sadie, Easton, Rawlings, Samuel, Campbell, Elizabeth, Lucas, Lawson and Landon; and her pet Bella.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (300 Westland Farm Rd, Mt Holly, NC 28120). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Carolina Caring Foundation, 3975 Robinson Rd., Newton, NC 28658 or by planting a tree in Western, North Carolina.
