It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Eileen DeRuby of Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Joseph O'Rourke; her son Eric Christopher DeRuby; and her sister Regina M. Gordon. She is survived by: her husband Richard Joseph DeRuby; her children, Karen DeRuby Walden (Troy), Renee DeRuby Tanis (Mike) and Ryan DeRuby (Beverly); her close friend Pam Alexander; and her grandchildren, Carly Brynne Walden and Grayson Noah DeRuby.
