He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Lafayette and Frances Loftin Mauney; his wife Mary Sue O'Daniel Mauney; and his sisters, Lucille Garrison, Ida Hamilton and Wanda Harmon.
He is survived by: his children, David Glenn Mauney (Paula), Marvin Joseph Mauney (Vickie) and Susan M. Beasley (Mark); and his siblings, William "Bill" Mauney, Marie Paysour and Sally Williams. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
