She is survived by: her mother Lois Hovis; her cousins, Ronnie and Mary Lynn Hovis of Alexis, NC; her grandson Jody Thomas of Gastonia; her brother Pascal Hovis of Blacksburg, VA; her niece Cathey Hovis Bassett (Joe); her great-nephew Riley of Blacksburg, VA; her nephew James Hovis (Margaret); her great-niece Olivia; her great-nephew Joseph of Dallas, NC.; and her husband Clyde Auten.
