It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda McDowell of Stanley, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Linda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Linda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ulysses Johnson and Carrie Mae McDowell Johnson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Ebony & White's Funeral Service, Inc. (1139 E Pine St, Lincolnton, NC 28092). Viewing was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (1951 Stanley Lucia Rd, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
