She was predeceased by: her parent Ernest Anderson; her husband James Howard Steele, Sr.; and her son James Howard Steele, Jr.. She is survived by: her parent Myrtle Sellers Anderson; her children, Constance Steele of Stanley, Danny Steele of Knoxville, TN and Teresa Steele Teems (Terry) of Gastonia; and her grandchildren, Brittany Teems, Trevin Teems, Paisley Andre, Zoey Teems and Raegan Teems. She is also survived by two brothers, and two sisters.
