She is survived by: her husband George Matthews; her son Chad Matthews (Christina); and her siblings, Rev. Paul L. Ramsey (Geri), Michael A. Ramsey (LeeAnn), Virginia R. Nixon, Jewell R. Brown (Earl) and Freida R. Pendleton.
