He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosecda Sanders Woods and Charles Wilson; his stepfather Jimmy Lee Woods, Sr.; and his brother Jimmy "Junebug" Woods, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Woods; his children, Tommy Gillespie (Lorena), Brandon Duncan, Devon Duncan, Joshua Duncan, Tawanda Huntley, Janese Duncan, Mary Patterson (Calvin), Kathryn Duncan Hush and Karen Duncan Brown; his siblings, Ronnie Sanders (Patrice) of Valdese, NC, Timoty Woods of Statesville, NC, Garrett Woods of Maiden, NC, Londie Woods of Catawba, NC, Darlene Woods of Lincolnton, NC and Roshell Woods of Hickory, NC; his aunts, Maggie McCray of Florida, Marie Houston (Clarence) of Charlotte, NC and Judy Schenck (Earnest) of Stanley, NC; and his uncle Jesse Woods of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
