With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John William Thompson of Stanley, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on June 19, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thompson and Minnie McCabe Thompson; and his siblings, Bill Wright, Marion Hendricks, Margaret McCann and Patricia Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Louchery Thompson; his children, Nicole Toner (Larry), Tiffany Thompson, Danny Thompson and Kevin Thompson; his grandchildren, Emily Cowley (John), Mikey Dagenhart, Elijah Thompson and Jasher Thompson; and his adoptive daughters, Tracy Holt and Doris Havens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
