He was predeceased by: his father John Darien Bowen; his grandparents, Frank and Patricia Bowen; and his stepgrandmother Berniece Ann Shaw. He is survived by: his mother Teresa Ellis-Shaw; his sons, Joseph Darien Wing and Elijah Dean Wing (Teresa); his siblings, Krystal Dawn Nguyen, Victoria Ann Shaw and Kristen Streimer; his grandparents, Rev. E. Lee Ellis and Evelyn B. Ellis; his stepgrandfather Danny Shaw; his nieces and nephews, Noah Nguyen, Aiden Nguyen, Nikolas Rodriguez and Emma Grace Rodriguez; his aunts and uncles, Nina Ellis Vassei (Mohammad), Faith Ellis McDaniel (Matt), Sharon Houston (Dan), Randy Bowen (Jeannie) and Brian Bowen (Cindy); and also Calvin L. Shaw.
