He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Beard and Myrtle Beard; and his son Bryan. He is survived by: his wife Marie Beard; his sons, Richard Beard, Ray Whitaker, Jr., Bruce Whitaker and Glen Whitaker; his grandsons, Clay and Eli; and his great grandchild Rylee.
