He was predeceased by: his parent Ruby Murrell Brown; and his grandparents, Georgia J. Murrell and John P. Murrell. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Armstrong Gantt; his children, Derrick Gantt (Belinda), Rich Gantt (Kathy), Brian Gantt (Amy) and Connie Trull (Shane); and his grandchildren, Broc Gantt, Laura Trull, Lexi Trull, Kellston Gantt, Drake Trull, Collin Gantt and Brookelyn Gantt.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home (375 Woodlawn Ave, Mt Holly, NC 28120).
