He was predeceased by: his parents, Coleman Pittman and Rhoda Pittman; and his siblings, Jess, Jay, Johnny, Joe, Nora, Cora Lee and Lucy.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra J. Pittman; his children, Sherrie Sigmon (Billy Ray), Mike Pittman (Renee) and Becky Self (Mike); his sister Faye Howell (Pat); and his grandchildren, Lisa Stewart, Heather Stewart, Matt McCuen, Shawn Pittman (Ashley), Shannon Thomas (Josh) and Brittany George (Tommy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
