Hugh Hovis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2021, at the age of 93, Hugh Hovis of Stanley, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hugh Hovis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. Hovis and Dorothy M. Hovis; his wife Mary Moore Helms Hovis; his daughter Janice H. Lowrance; and his siblings, Lucille H. Jetton and Ray W. Hovis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melanie Mills (Gerry) of Stanley and Marian Saltzer (Craig) of Thomasville; his grandchildren, Anna Farr, Kenny Lowrance, Dan Mullis, Jenny Byrd, Katie Williams and Elizabeth Lowrance; and also Erica Aiken. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required.
